These recent choices of Everett’s are all birds found in Texas. Roadrunner and Caracara are often seen in arid areas but the Kingfisher thrives near lakes, rivers, and other aquatic areas.

Berman is the recipient of a 2023 Fulbright Award. Her work is widely collected and she has exhibited internationally at venues. The Ravel Suite is comprised of three color lithographs.

Inspired by the flotsom-jetsom of Houston's frequent hurricanes, Miller draws on the metaphorical mirror of human disaster and recovery found in nature. Working with a panoramic format, Miller intends that "Recovery" be read in time as well as a whole.
