Known for her remarkable sculptures that often explore the entanglements of space and time, Sherry Owens created this large woodcut titled un poco de bambú. ( a little bamboo.) Owens carved the image directly into large 25” x 48” woodblock and brought it to Flatbed where we printed it onto 34”x44” Japan Okawara.
The scale,of the woodcut feels massive while the linear carved elements intertwine creating a dense but lively space.
