Maguire's new monoprint series was born from grief, created in the wake of losing both of his parents. Each work explores a recurring headspace—a symbolic portrait of the mind—layered with affirmations, symbols, and shifting palettes. These are not just a series of portraits; they are maps of thought, resilience, and healing. Through repetition and variation, the series becomes a visual meditation on the power of language, memory, and the determination to move forward. These prints are meant as a kind of personal armour—bright, bold reminders that our internal narratives shape our ability to thrive. 

Maguire drew the key image as a stone lithograph.  Working with Master Printer, Joshua Orsburn, he printed the drawing with fourteen different monoprinted color variations that explore the narratives imbedded in the image.
