Dive into the technical and conceptual approaches to monotype printmaking using a wide variety of techniques and materials in this dynamic, mixed-media workshop. Each session will center around a different technique found in prints from Flatbed's collection.

Explore the unique world of print through demonstrations and hands-on experimentation by learning how to create innovative one-of-a-kind prints using drawing, painting, and stencils. This workshop will explore color mixing, brushwork, ghost images, incorporating both wet and dry media and stencils to create rich, highly developed works of art. We will be providing water-soluble ink, a selection of paper, and everything else necessary for printing, however, students are more than welcome to bring their own materials. Students may also work independently on a drop-in basis. Come dressed to have fun!
